The Reflecting Pool

Less a traditional swimming pool than a piece of architecture in its own right, this build uses realistic marble-look porcelain tile and a mirror-still water surface to frame the Red Rock mountain backdrop beyond. Laser-cut steel privacy screens with a botanical motif add texture against the desert wall without blocking the view.

Every material here was chosen to disappear into reflection rather than compete with it — the pool becomes a quiet, architectural surface that changes with the light throughout the day. The surrounding deck and coping are real natural stone — genuine Verona Marble, in 5cm Modern Edge coping and 3cm French Pattern deck pavers — a deliberate contrast to the engineered porcelain below the waterline.
