Jonny Moore built his first pool more than twenty years ago — long before Luxe Pools Las Vegas existed as a company. What started as a hobby for himself, family, and friends became a realization: water is transformative within architecture, not separate from it.
The turning point came years later, with a pool built for close friends — purely for the joy of it. That project was so much fun, and so clarifying, that it convinced Jonny to leave a long corporate career (in robotics sales and supply chain leadership) and build pools full time. Not to build the most pools, but to build spaces people would genuinely love for decades.
Today, Luxe Pools Las Vegas treats every project as a custom design rather than a typical backyard pool. The home's architecture comes first. Then materials, lighting, and water movement are refined until the pool feels inevitable — like it was always meant to be there.
"A great pool should feel like it was always part of the architecture — never something added later." — Jonny Moore, Modern Luxury Vegas, "Faces of Design"
Every project starts with the architecture of the home — never a shape dropped into a backyard as an afterthought. Just as important is understanding how homeowners actually want to live in the space: entertaining friends, relaxing with family, or building a private retreat. From there, materials, lighting, and water movement are refined — sometimes incorporating exceptional finishes like glass tile mosaics, including work from Bisazza, that let the water itself become part of the design.
Jonny's philosophy is that pools should feel timeless and architectural — clean lines, thoughtful proportions, and beautiful materials, rather than trendy features that look dated within a few years. The goal is always a pool that feels natural to the home and landscape, where water becomes a quiet but powerful part of the design.
Guided by authenticity, craftsmanship, and relationships, every project is treated as highly personal — close collaboration with homeowners, architects, and designers throughout, with honest communication from concept through completion. Managing the full process without separate handoffs means fewer lost details and far less of the friction that often comes with construction.
Every bespoke creation is designed to make a splash. But the bigger mission matters more: not building the most pools, but building spaces people truly love and enjoy for decades.
Managing the entire client experience from concept through completion has always been the edge — building a process that helps clients avoid the friction that often comes with construction, and drawing on a background leading large corporate projects to execute efficiently and complete builds in a fraction of the time many traditional pool builders require.
Luxe Pools Las Vegas has been featured by Pentair in "Stepping Inside the World of a Luxury Pool Builder," and profiled twice by Modern Luxury Vegas — in "Faces of Design" and "Power Players." The signature Fornasetti Serratura mosaic installation, custom color-graded in collaboration with Bisazza, drew recognition from both design houses directly.
