The Keyhole Residence

At the heart of this build is Fornasetti's Serratura — a piece of licensed Italian design, not installed from a standard catalog colorway but custom color-graded in direct collaboration with Bisazza specifically for this project. The gradient shading was developed for this pool alone, turning the floor of a lap pool into a genuine work of art.

The pool floor and walls are executed entirely in 20mm custom Bisazza glass mosaic — part of it forming the Serratura artwork itself, part of it a custom-curated gradient color blend developed specifically for this build. Stair treads and bench edges are detailed in Bisazza Platino, a 20mm mosaic tile made with genuine platinum. It's the kind of collaboration most backyard pools never attempt — and one that drew direct recognition from both Bisazza and Fornasetti themselves.

The surrounding deck and coping are executed entirely in genuine Verona Marble — 5cm "Modern Edge" coping paired with 3cm French Pattern pavers across the deck, keeping the hardscape quiet enough for the mosaic to remain the clear focal point.
